Janet White Riley Born and raised in Clarion Born and raised in Clarion, with her Catholic faith, Ms.
Riley left her home town in 1961 to follow her dreams of modeling and starting a
family in The most important thing in Ms. Riley’s life was her
unending love and devotion for her family and her many, many friends she met
along the way. She loved shopping and delighted in sending all the people
she cared so much about “Goodie Packages” comprised of beautiful handcrafted
items she made and the wonderful treasures she found while on her sprees. She
never forgot to send her carefully chosen “Love Gifts” for every birthday
and holiday. Ms. Riley sadly leaves behind a special and very devoted
daughter, Ms. Syndee White and her partner, Gary; three adoring brothers and
wife’s, Robert and Kimberly Riley, Larry Riley all of Broken Arrow, Okla.,
William and Holly Riley of Clarion and one sister, Jodi Guthrie and her
husband, James, of Tionesta who adored her “Sissy.” Ms. Riley will also be missed by her aunts Gertrude
Matthews and husband, Glenn, Joanne Riley, Fran Ganoe, Nola Riley and several
nieces and nephews. Ms. Riley lived for many years with her devoted friend Jean
Ermel until her death, as well as her faithful little Pekinese dog she adored
and referred to as “Jan’s Precious Gizmo.” Ms. Riley was preceded in death by her beloved father and
mother Eugene and Anastaia Riley and a brother Eugene Riley Jr. Funeral services will be held at In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lupus
