Clarion-Limestone seventh- and eighth-graders under the direction of Bill Aaron raised $3,930 for St. Jude Childrens Hospital during this year’s Math-A-Thon. Students asked sponsors to make a pledge for every problem completed in a special Math-A-Thon booklet which contains approximately 250 age-appropriate problems. Students raising $100 or more are pictured here from left (back) Clay Hawthorn, Travis Caro, LW Wangler, Kyle Sharrar, Corbin Yeany, (front) Paige Zuck, Kelsey Leadbetter, Katie Burnham, Tara Peterson and Samantha Bonner. St. Jude is a world-renowned research hospital that treats children with all forms of cancer and since it began in 1986, Clarion-Limestone students have raised more than $36,000 for the hospital.
