Hatching plans and chicks

Fifth-grade
students in John Greenawalt’s class at
Immaculate
Conception
School
in Clarion are working on an embryology project that encompasses research on the
different types of chickens, where they originated from, the life cycle of
chickens as well as their care. Pictured here from left, Sara Shingledecker,
Louden Buchanan, Mario Rombold, Liam Raehsler and Rachel Hummell gently care for
some chicken eggs and chart their progress. The students will later be tested
under the guidance of

University
