Australian art, healthy hearts

Elementary
School
is hosting a collaborative “Art Show and Health Fair” from
6-8
p.m.
Wednesday, April 16 at Clarion-Limestone. This year’s art theme is
‘Australian Art‘ and consists of many types of three-dimensional pieces.
Pictured here around the art are sixth-grade students Tara Gross, Josh Taylor,
Sydney Simpson, Devin Persing and Hope Wagner putting the finishing paint

tombs under the direction of art teacher Liz Huwar. Several area businesses
donated healthy items such as water bottles or money for prizes that will be
presented to the best artist from each grade level as well as a scavenger hunt
and more fun activities. Fifth-graders chose the health fair’s theme,
“Passport to Fitness,” and it will focus on nutrition and exercise.
