Clarion-Limestone High School was host to the FFA Career Development Events on Thursday, April 17. Five different schools participated in the event including C-L, Redbank Valley , Johnsonburg, Brockway and Jefferson County-DuBois Area Vocational-Technology School (Jeff Tech). The students competed in five areas of hands-on CDEs; forestry, wildlife, agricultural-mechanics, horticulture and livestock, and the winners of this event will continue on to compete at a state competition this summer at the University of Pennsylvania .  Pictured here, tenth-grader Jeremiah Bowley begins cutting metal with a torch. CDEs connect classroom instruction with real-life scenarios.
