General News CNET files drug-related charges against 11 suspects
CLARION - After a nearly year-long investigation, The
Clarion County Narcotics Enforcement Task Force in the past few days arrested
and charged 11 people with various drug-related charges. “These arrests are the result of nearly 12 months of
investigation by CNET,” said Aaron called the investigation an “extensive effort”
funded with money from state Attorney General Tom Corbett’s office. The following people were arrested and charged in the past
week: Aaron M. Crable, 19, Grouse Filed Lane, Clarion/ Clairton. Crable is charged with four counts of violating the
controlled substance, drug, device and cosmetic act as an unclassified felony
offense; five counts of violating the CSDDCA as an unclassified misdemeanor
offense; and two counts of criminal use of a communications facility as a
third-degree felony. Crable’s charges are related to the alleged sale of
marijuana and cocaine. Kevin Doherty, 22, Doherty is charged with three counts of violating the
CSDDCA as an unclassified felony offense; six counts of violating the CSDDCA as
an unclassified misdemeanor offense; and two counts of criminal use of a
communications facility as a third-degree felony. Doherty’s charges are related to the alleged sale of
marijuana. Erica J. Forberger, 29, Forberger is charged with one count of violating the CSDDCA
as an unclassified felony offense; one count of violating the CSDDCA as an
unclassified misdemeanor offense; and one count of criminal use of a
communications facility as a third-degree felony. Forberger’s charges are related to the alleged sale of a
drug called “Ecstasy.” Kristan Kutskel Hearst, 20, Hearst is charged with one count of violating the CSDDCA as
an unclassified felony offense; and one count of criminal use of a
communications facility as a third-degree felony. Hearst’s charges are related to the alleged sale of
marijuana. Wesley Allan Jespersen, 19, Jespersen is charged with two counts of violating the
CSDDCA as an unclassified felony offense; four counts of violating the CSDDCA as
an unclassified misdemeanor offense; and two counts of criminal use of a
communications facility as a third-degree felony. Jespersen’s charges are related to the alleged sale of
marijuana. Darryl Lee Johnson, no age provided, Ballentine Hall, Johnson is charged with one count of violating the CSDDCA
as an unclassified felony offense; one count of violating the CSDDCA as an
unclassified misdemeanor offense; and one count of criminal use of a
communications facility as a third-degree felony. Johnson’s charges are related to the alleged sale of
marijuana. Matthew Michael Landis, 19, Nair Hall, Landis is charged with three counts of violating the CSDDCA
as an unclassified felony offense; five counts of violating the CSDDCA as an
unclassified misdemeanor offense; and one count of criminal use of a
communications facility as a third-degree felony. Landis’ charges are related to the alleged sale of
marijuana. Daniel J. Niederriter, 23, Shady Drive, Lucinda. Niederriter is charged with one count of violating the
CSDDCA as an unclassified felony offense; two counts of violating the CSDDCA as
an unclassified misdemeanor offense. Niederriter charges are related to the alleged sale of a
drug called “Ecstasy.” Ryan M. Pierson, 20, Pierson is charged with three counts of violating the
CSDDCA as an unclassified felony offense; six counts of violating the CSDDCA as
an unclassified misdemeanor offense; and one count of criminal use of a
communications facility as a third-degree felony. Pierson’s charges are related to the alleged sale of
marijuana. Joshua Adam Shaffer, 21, Shaffer is charged with three counts of violating the
CSDDCA as an unclassified felony offense; five counts of violating the CSDDCA as
an unclassified misdemeanor offense; and one count of criminal use of a
communications facility as a third-degree felony. Shaffer’s charges are related to the alleged sale of
marijuana. David J. Uhler, 19, Uhler is charged with two counts of violating the CSDDCA as
an unclassified felony offense; four counts of violating the CSDDCA as an
unclassified misdemeanor offense; and one count of criminal use of a
communications facility as a third-degree felony. Uhler’s charges are related to the alleged sale of
marijuana. In each case, undercover investigators and/or confidential
informants made drug purchases from the suspects under the observation of CNET
officers. In the cases involving charges of criminal use of a
communications facility, the charges stem from alleged use of cellular
telephones during the alleged offenses. All of the alleged offenses occurred within the past year
in and around Clarion Borough. The law enforcement members of CNET include police
departments in Knox, Clarion and New Bethlehem along with the Clarion County
Sheriff’s office.
