Library winter festival

Katie Koeppl and her little brother John, children of Patrick Koeppl and Susan Allison of Limestone, helped decorate the Christmas tree at the Clarion Free Library this week in preparation of the Children’s Winter Festival. The festival is set for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at the library. Sponsored by the library and Clarion University PenNAEYC, the event includes stories, crafts, music and fun. The library also will host a showing of “Polar Express” at 6 p.m. Dec. 5. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served. The events are free. Call 226-7172 for more information.
