Harold Alvin Flick Former Clarion area resident Born He was married Mr. Flick was a manager for Seagram’s Distilleries. He
then became the secretary of the Clarion Chamber of Commerce and was
instrumental in the establishment of the Autumn Leaf Festival over 50 years ago. Mr. Flick headed the Hazleton Chamber of Commerce where he
helped develop the Mr. Flick established Site Finders Inc. setting up
locations for over 100 Arby’s, Pizza Huts and Wendy’s. At one time he owned
13 Arby’s franchises before retiring to Mr. Flick was of the Roman Catholic faith. He was a
graduate of Mr. Flick’s favorite pastimes were reading, traveling and
spending time with his family. Mr. Flick is survived by two sons, William of State
College, and John and his wife, Laura, of Mr. Flick is also survived by his long-time companion,

Brookville and the late Ralph Hannah. In addition to his mother, Mr. Hannah is survived by his
loving wife, Genia Hannah, children, Cory Kahle, Laura O’Quinn and her
husband, Christopher, Shaun Hannah and his wife, Jessica and granddaughter Ava,
and Natalie Fawcett. Mr. Hannah is also survived by one brother along with

degree in June 1946, from Mrs. McCauley served on the Clarion Free Library board of
directors and was a member of the American Association of University Women. Mrs. McCauley enjoyed travel, playing bridge and solving
crossword puzzles. She loved to entertain and was happiest when spending time
with family and friends. Mrs. McCauley is survived by a son and his wife, Thomas
McCauley and Belinda Massaro, of Reston, Va.; two daughters and their husbands,
Janet McCauley Herrick and her husband, James Herrick, of Massillon, Ohio and
Barbara McCauley Hankins and her husband, William Hankins, of Franklin; a
brother, Abraham Norman of Elmira, N.Y.; two sisters, Helen Close of Big Flats,
N.Y. and Martha Rashid of Bethesda, Md. and four grandchildren, Sara Snyder of
Pittsburgh, Jennifer Herrick of Rockville, Md., Gregory Herrick of Cuyahoga
Falls, Ohio and Andrew McCauley of Reston, Va. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. McCauley was
preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elias; two brothers, Joseph Norman and

He was married
Mr. Servey was a Corporal in the United States Army from 1950 through
1952, serving in the 109th Engineers in
Mr. Servey worked for Clarion Dry Cleaners for 23 years and later worked
for Kiser Coal and C&K Coal Company
Mr. Servey was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, and was a
charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Clarion, and the American
Legion.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Servey is survived by
two daughters, Peggy Gourley and her husband, Nobel “Punk,” of
Reidsburg, Anita Hinkle and her husband, Jeff, of Emlenton; five sons, Tom
Servey and friend, Cindy, of Sligo, Frank Servey and his wife, Lynn, of Hughey,
Mark Servey and his wife, Liz, of Reidsburg, Bruce Servey and friend, Candy, of
Clarion, Jack Servey and his wife, Gretchen, of Clarion; two step-sons, Dan
Space and his wife, Pam, of Shippenville and Sam Space of Mercer.
Mr. Servey is also survived by 17
grandchildren, Gavin, Jennifer Servey, Dennis Smith, Angela Servey, Alex
“Bubba” Cherico, Kelly Servey, Katelyn Servey, Russell Hinkel, Michael
Kitchen and wife, Jessica, Laura Maudlin and husband, Paul, Jason Kitchen and
friend Courtney Gould, Debra Smith and husband Mike, Matthew Space, Daniel Space
and wife, Crystal, Justin Space, David Space and Brynn Space, 12
great-grandchildren and five siblings, Jane Smathers of Limestone, Jessie
Hartzell of Knox, LuLu Belle Dodd of Bruin, Edna Rhinehuls of Grove City and
George Servey of Shippenville.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Servey was preceded in death by a sister,
Mildred Meier Smith, a brother, Harry Servey and a grandson Billy Servey.

passed away Born She married George Stanley on Mrs. Stanley graduated in 1937 from Mrs. Stanley met her husband at a USO dance at After working for 25 years as a civilian for the Army, Mrs.
Stanley retired from the judge Advocate General’s office in the Chief of
Claims Division. Mrs. Stanley and her husband returned to Mrs. Stanley enjoyed watching the New York Yankees with her
husband, spending time with her family, working in her yard and baking. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Stanley is survived by
three children, George Stanley and
his wife, Marie, of Fresno, Calif.; John Stanley and his wife, Lynn, of
Meridian, Idaho and Marty Collett and her husband, Bob, of Lucinda; nine
grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Stanley, Kimberly, Heather, Holly, and
Shanelle Stanley, Kelly Hart and husband, Bill, Christy Sample and husband,
Jason and Katie Collett. Twelve great-grandchildren also survive with Blake and
Brooke Hart and Brayden and Riley Sample living locally. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stanley is preceded in
