Obama’s poor judgment
By Sy Ali-Zaidi, Shippenville

Sen. Barack Obama’s speech March 18 on the Rev. Jeremiah Wright issue confirmed a close association as a friend, advisor, mentor and family member-like uncle.

Wright inspired Obama’s Christian faith. Obama did not disown Rev. Wright.

Obama is a product of Rev. Wright’s 20 years of indoctrination and Chicago ’s Trinity United Church of Christ.

In 1993. Rev. Wright said in a sermon blacks should condemn the United States for creating the AIDS virus and giving drugs to blacks. He said we should sing god**** America .

In a sermon after the Sept. 11 attacks, he said the U.S. supports terrorist attacks against Palestine . He said America ’s chickens had come home to roost.

Rev. Wright compared the U.S. to al Qaida and the KKK.

The Chicago ’s Trinity United Church of Christ gave a lifetime achievement award to Louis Farrakhan, who is anti-Semitic. Rev. Wright called the Jewish faith a gutter religion – an insult to three religions, Jewish, Christian and Islam.

In 1994, Rev. Wright and Farrakhan traveled to Tripoli to meet with Libyan leader Qadafi.

Michelle Obama recently said for the first time in her adult life she was proud of her country.

Most liberal congressional representatives, like Sen. John Kerry, Sen. Chris Dodd and Hilary Clinton voted for the war in Iraq .

Obama, a state senator at the time, talks about his opposition to the war. Obama repeated refers to that as proof of his sound judgment.

The media should review the sermons, church news bulletins and the advice Rev. Wright gave to Obama to oppose the Iraq War.

The media should ask Obama if he is a pacifist. The media should ask if Obama would be like the English Prime Minister Chamberlain who signed a treaty with Hitler and decaled, “peace in our time.”

Iran and other Islamic terrorists must be resisted with all of our resources.

Obama, your judgment is inferior.

What would Rev. Wright advise?

Juan Williams, a respected African-American journalist, stated on Fox News Sunday if his pastor made comments like those of Rev. Wright, he would quit his church immediately.

Obama decided in favor of Rev. Wright and his church.

Obama, you did not say it, but I do ask God to bless America . Obama, you did not say it, but I do – I am proud of my country every day.
